Dick Jones

Dick Jones was an exceptional two-sport athlete. He earned 1968 Third Team All-American status in basketball after averaging 19.2 ppg. A two-time All-ICC selection (1967 and 1968), Jones averaged 22.8 ppg in 1967 and was named to the NCAA All-Regional Team. He currently is VU's fourth all-time scorer (1,520 points).

In baseball, Jones earned all-conference in 1965 and 1967. He compiled a pitching record of 18-7 in his three-year career.
