"A remarkable one-man athletics department, Jake Christiansen coached an undefeated football team in 1932, and his basketball team of 1938 won the Indiana Intercollegiate title and went on to play in the National Tournament in Kansas City, Mo.

He went on to coach basketball from 1941-1942 through 1952-1953, and football from 1941 through 1968 at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. Coach Christiansen was inducted posthumously.
