WVUR to Carry 40 Live Valpo Sporting Events this Spring

                WVUR (95.1 FM-Valparaiso) has announced that the student-run radio station will broadcast more than 40 live baseball and softball games this spring beginning with the Crusader baseball game on Sunday, March 2 against Indiana in Clarksville, Tenn.

                Every home baseball and softball contest, along with selected road games will be carried by the station.  Most games will be carried live on WVUR and online at www.valpo.edu/athletics while several baseball games will be available only through www.sportsjuice.com. The first softball game that is slated to be aired is the home opener on March 22, a doubleheader against Green Bay.

                The schedule includes live coverage of the Horizon League Baseball Tournament in late May live from Youngstown, Ohio.
