Valparaiso University women’s basketball coach Keith Freeman has announced the signing of Raegan Moore to a National Letter of Intent to play for the Crusaders beginning in the fall.
Moore, a 6’1” guard from Girard, Pa., was a Second Team All-Pennsylvania selction at Girard High School. As a senior, she averaged 18.3 points and 7.9 rebounds per game and finished her career with 1,475 points. She was the Region Player of the Year in District 10. She also averaged 2.5 assists and 2.9 steals per contest for her team which finished the year 22-5 and was ranked ninth in the state in class AA.
Moore also is track and field athlete and has qualified for the state championships in the 100,200, and 400 meter events.
“Raegan is an outstanding student and athlete,” Freeman said. “She is very versatile and has a great upside. She is a good driver and has a very good mid range game. I think she has the potential to be a very good college basketball player.”
Moore joins Gina Lange, Skyler Gick, and Laura Richards as members of the incoming freshmen class.
