Valpo Second Seed as League Announces Tournament Seedings

Valparaiso has earned the second seed for the 2009 Horizon League Championship in Cleveland, Ohio and receives a bye into the tournament semifinals, as the league officially released the tournament pairings today.
The Crusaders finished the regular season with a 12-4 league mark and at 22-9 overall, finishing one game back of regular season champion Cleveland State. Valpo will face off with the higher remaining seed out of Friday’s quarterfinal matchups (#3 Milwaukee vs. #6 Green Bay; #4 Butler vs. #5 UIC) at 2:30 p.m. CST on Saturday. The championship match will be held Sunday afternoon at noon CST.
