Thursday Slate at Horizon League Championship Washed Out

Due to unplayable field conditions at Nischwitz Stadium in Dayton, Ohio following lengthy periods of rain, the entire slate of games scheduled for Thursday at the 2011 Horizon League Baseball Championship has been postponed until Friday. Valparaiso is now scheduled to take on UIC on Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. CDT.
The adjusted tournament schedule features four games on Friday, but the Crusaders are guaranteed to play just one game tomorrow. With a win against the Flames, Valpo would play in the second game on Saturday, while a loss would move the Crusaders into Saturday’s opener. Further schedule updates, if necessary, will be available on www.valpoathletics.com.
