Valparaiso redshirt sophomore Kelsey Victor (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) earned her first career weekly award from the Horizon League office on Monday, as she was named the league's Offensive Player of the Week after breaking her career high for kills in back-to-back matches last weekend.

Victor kicked off the weekend by tallying a career-best 15 kills in Valpo's four-set win at Youngstown State, doing so while hitting at a .433 clip. The redshirt sophomore then one-upped herself on Saturday against Cleveland State with a monstrous effort, putting down a match-high 21 kills and hitting at a .500 clip in the five-set match.

For the weekend, Victor hit .469 while averaging an even four kills per set, and also added five blocks in each of the matches. Victor and the rest of the Crusaders return home on Saturday night at 7 p.m. to face Green Bay.
