Valparaiso Announces Video Offerings for 2013-14 Season

An expanded Horizon League Network schedule and multiple weekly shows highlight the Valparaiso University athletics department video offerings for the upcoming 2013-14 season.

This fall will see all 11 of volleyball's home matches, including each of the Crusaders' four matches of the Popcorn Classic and all seven Horizon League contests, streamed on HLN. Valpo will stream four of the football program's five home games this fall, including the homecoming showdown with Campbell and Senior Day versus Dayton, while men's soccer and women's soccer will each have three home games streamed, including two Horizon League contests apiece.

As always, all of the Crusaders' men's and women's basketball home regular season games (excepting those broadcast on an ESPN network) will be available on HLN, as well as all non-ESPN league road tilts. And for the first time, Valpo will be streaming regular season games live from the Valparaiso University Softball Field in the spring, as all three regular season home Horizon League series are tentatively slated for broadcast on HLN.

Highlights of all of Valpo's games broadcast on HLN will be available the night of the game, uploaded to YouTube and linked with the game recap on ValpoAthletics.com. In addition, press conferences following men's basketball home games will be captured and made available as well.

Beyond the expanded streaming schedule, the athletics department is bringing fans multiple ways to keep track of the Crusader squads during the week. Inside Valpo Athletics is released every Thursday on the YouTube channel and at ValpoAthletics.com, featuring inside looks behind the scenes of the Crusader teams. Already this summer, Inside Valpo Athletics has brought fans interviews catching up with this season's men's basketball senior class and Mic'd Up segments with Valpo football coaches as they go through training camp with this year's squad.

The Valpo Coaches Show will return this season and will be released every Wednesday, bringing fans insight from the head coaches of in-season teams regarding their results and upcoming games. This year, fans will be able to submit questions via Twitter to @ValpoAthletics for possible use on the shows. Valpo All-Access will also return this year as student-athletes continue to showcase skill sets within their various sports to fellow students.
