Valparaiso's Rachel Janssen (Fort Wayne, Ind./Dwenger H.S.) was named to the Mid-Continent Conference First Team while Kate Evangelist (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Glenbard West H.S.) and Kim Sajevic (Woodbury, Minn./Woodbury H.S.) were Second Team selections as the league announced its postseason awards on Tuesday afternoon.

Valparaiso University will host the 2007 Mid-Continent Conference Women's Tennis Championships this Friday and Saturday at the Valparaiso University Tennis Complex. The two-time defending tournament champion Crusaders will serve as the tournament's third seed and face second-seeded IUPUI on Friday morning at 10 a.m. in the semifinals.
