Valparaiso University director of athletics Mark LaBarbera has announced that Michelle Mahoney has been named as the Crusaders' new head women's tennis coach.

?Michelle brings a great deal of energy to our tennis program," LaBarbera said. ?I am excited for her to take over and continue the success that our program has had in recent years."

Mahoney also spent time at Siena helping teach at the Saints' summer camps. In addition, she trained at the Bollettieri Tennis Academy during high school.

?I am very excited about the opportunity to coach," Mahoney said. ?I am looking forward to the upcoming spring season."
