Valparaiso University’s Ansel Hillmer (Tampa, Fla./Hillsborough H.S.) has been named to the Swimming and Diving Academic All-Horizon League Team.

            The Crusader junior turned in the school’s second fastest 100 butterfly time (51.81) and fourth fastest 200 fly (1:59.97) marks in history this season.  Hillmer also was a member of Valpo’s third fastest 200 medley relay all-time.

            A member of the Horizon League’s Fall Academic Honor Roll as well, Hillmer won three individual races throughout the season.  He has a 3.80 cumulative grade point average as a double major in physics and mathematics.
