            Five home meets highlight Valparaiso University’s 2008-2009 swimming and diving schedule which sees the Crusaders compete 11 times prior to the Horizon League Championships.

            Valpo will open the campaign on October 5 in Carmel, Ind. as the Crusaders face Butler (women only), Saint Louis, and Evansville.  Two weeks later, Xavier (Ohio) visits the Athletics-Recreation Center on October 17 for the Crusaders’ home opener.

            The Crusaders will also entertain Milwaukee on November 22 and Green Bay on December 4 as part of a stretch of three straight home meets.  UIC will wrap up the homestand on January 24.  Valpo then wraps up the home portion of the schedule on February 6 for Senior Day against Cleveland State.

            Valpo will visit Saint Louis and Wright State in November while traveling to Western Illinois and Eastern Illinois at the end of January.  The regular season concludes on February 7 as the Crusaders head back to Carmel to face Butler (women only) and IUPUI.

            The Crusaders will head to Milwaukee, Wis. from February 25-28 to compete at the Horizon League Swimming and Diving Championships to wrap up the 2008-2009 campaign.
