Valparaiso University’s Adam Rundh (Aalborg, Denmark/Orjanskolan H.S.) has been named to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District V First Team for the second straight season.

The junior defensive end has 33 tackles this season, including 4.5 for loss.  He leads the team with 1.5 quarterback sacks, has broken up a pass and recovered a fumble.  He also has a kick block on the year.

An Honorable Mention All-Pioneer Football League selection last year, Rundh carries a 3.92 cumulative grade point average as a double major in international business and finance.  He is now eligible for Academic All-America honors, which will be voted upon in the next several weeks.

To be eligible for Academic All-District and Academic All-America, student-athletes must hold at least sophomore status, own a minimum grade-point average of 3.20, and be either a starter or key reserve.  District V consists of schools in Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Ontario, and Manitoba.
