The Valparaiso men's soccer program will conclude its spring season on Saturday afternoon with an alumni game at Brown Field at 12:30 p.m. before welcoming Taj Weekes, whose charity They Often Cry Outreach (TOCO) the Crusaders have partnered with, and Adowa to town for a concert that night beginning at 9 p.m.

Valparaiso head men's soccer coach Mike Avery announced this afternoon that Todd Vervynckt, a talented attacking player from Plymouth, Ind. (Plymouth H.S./Indiana Invaders FC), has signed a national letter of intent to join the Crusader squad as a freshman for the 2010 season. Vervynckt's addition brings the Crusaders' incoming class for 2010 to nine players.

These four incoming freshmen will accompany four players who were introduced on February 3rd. The newest additions to the Crusader men's soccer roster are high school seniors Charles Barden, Ben Burnett, Michael Chwistek and Fabian Urquiza.
