Valparaiso dropped all three contests in the quadrangular meet hosted by Cleveland State on Saturday afternoon in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Crusaders fell to the host Vikings 181-40, Niagara 145-83, and Saint Bonaventure 189-32.
Kevin Fedde (Fort Collins, Colo./Heritage Christian H.S.) turned in the school’s eighth fastest time ever in the 1000 freestyle, finishing in a time of 10:26.69. He finished seventh overall in the race.
Blake Edwards (Orange, Calif./Lutheran H.S. of Orange County) placed sixth in the 500 freestyle, touching the wall in 5:00.68. He also placed seventh for the Brown and Gold in the 200 free with a time of 1:49.12.
David Sivak (Hobart, Ind./Hobart H.S.) and Austin Hunter (La Crescent, Minn./La Crescent H.S.) also turned in a pair of sixth place efforts. Sivak posted his in the 200 individual medley with a time of 2:00.38 while Hunter turned in a mark of 2:04.22 in the 200 backstroke.
Trevor Trimpe (New Palestine, Ind./Connersville H.S.) added a sixth place finish in the 200 breaststroke, finishing in 2:21.23.
Valparaiso (0-4) will return to the water next Friday evening in Green Bay, Wis. to face the Phoenix of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. The meet begins at 6 p.m.
