York teamed with Jackie O’Reilly (Green Bay, Wis./DePere H.S.) for an 8-5 victory over Natalie Burgeson and  Emily Thieme at number two doubles, giving the Crusaders an early point as the teams played the nine-point scoring system.

Saint Joseph’s (6-0) led 2-1 after doubles though as the Pumas won at the other two positions.  Cynthia Kegley and Katee Sanderson topped Katie Bilyeu (Terre Haute, Ind./South Vigo H.S.) and Kristin Zakiewicz (Bristol, Ind./Northridge H.S.) 8-4 at the top spot while Katie Guernsey and Debra Easton-Bates downed Brittany O’Reilly (Green Bay, Wis./Southwest H.S.) and Aubree Zdanovec (Appleton, Wis./East H.S.) 9-7 at the  third spot.
