Beil, Campbell Represent Crusaders on All-Tournament Team
Emily Campbell picked up the first All-Tournament honor of her career.

Junior Morgan Beil (St. Louis, Mo./Marquette) and freshman Emily Campbell (Grand Rapids, Mich./Forest Hills Central) represented the Valparaiso volleyball team as selections to the All-Tournament Team from Evansville's tournament this past weekend.

Beil hit .368 for the Crusaders with 27 kills over the tournament's three matches. The junior, who earned her second All-Tournament accolade of the year, stood out in Valpo's pair of wins on Saturday, posting 11 kills on .529 hitting against SIU Edwardsville and finishing the event with 11 kills on .450 hitting versus the host Purple Aces.

Meanwhile, Campbell received the first All-Tournament award of her career after averaging 3.00 kills and 3.36 digs per set over the course of the tournaments, marks which led the Crusaders and ranked third on the team, respectively. The highlight of the freshman's weekend came in Valpo's Saturday morning victory over SIU Edwardsville, when Campbell tallied a match-best 20 kills and also posted 20 digs, becoming the first Crusader since November of 2009 to post a 20-20 performance in kills and digs.

Beil, Campbell and the rest of the Crusaders return to the court this weekend at the Blue & White Classic in Buffalo, N.Y., kicking off tournament play against host Buffalo Friday night.
