Help celebrate Championship Night at the ARC Friday evening, as Valparaiso honors its four Horizon League Championship squads from last season at the season-opening men's basketball game against Murray State, slated for a 7:30 p.m. tipoff.

The festivities kick off Friday as the Crusader volleyball team hosts Cleveland State at 4 p.m. All men's basketball season ticket holders will receive free admission to the volleyball match with their basketball ticket.

Then, prior to tipoff against Murray State, the 2012-13 Valpo men's basketball team, which claimed the Horizon League regular season and tournament championships and advanced to the NCAA Tournament, will be honored. Members of the team will be on hand to receive their championship rings, while banners commemorating the championships and NCAA Tournament berth will be unveiled in the rafters of the arena.

Finally, at halftime of the basketball game, Valpo's other three Horizon League championship teams from the 2012-13 academic year - men's golf, softball and baseball - will be honored as all three squads receive their championship rings.
