As the Valparaiso women's tennis team continues to prepare for the upcoming season, the 2014 schedule was released on Wednesday afternoon. The Crusader women jump into play right away, as the team travels to Muncie, Ind. for a match against Ball State this Friday.

After the match at Ball State, Valparaiso is set to play consecutive home matches against Western Michigan and South Dakota. The team is then back on the road with matches against Marquette and Utah State before returning home for a four-game home stand at the Courts of NWI that begins on Sunday, Feb. 9^th. During that time, the Crusaders will meet Dayton, South Dakota State, UTPA, and IPFW.

Following nearly a three-week break, the Crusader women return to action on March 13^th, as the team travels to Puerto Rico to meet both Providence and Long Island for matches. After the trip to Puerto Rico, Valparaiso will play a match at UIC before beginning Horizon League match play.

The Crusaders kick off their Horizon League campaign with a home match against Wright State on Saturday, March 29^th. After the Wright State match, the Crusaders will play four straight Horizon League matches on the road against Green Bay, Milwaukee, Detroit, and Oakland.

After a nonleague match at Chicago State on April 14^th, Valparaiso wraps up Horizon League regular season play with back-to-back home matches against Cleveland State on April 19^th, and Youngstown State on April 20^th.
