Valparaiso senior guard Lavonte Dority (Chicago, Ill./Foreman [USF]) added another honor to his standout final season as a Crusader on Wednesday, as he was named a Second Team All-District 12 selection by the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). With the selection, Dority is now eligible for NABC All-America honors. Dority earned the All-District accolade from the NABC after a First Team All-Horizon League senior campaign. The Chicago native paced the Crusaders and finished fifth in the league, averaging 16.0 points per game. Also among the league's best in free throw percentage (.847, 3rd) and 3-point percentage (.432, 4th), Dority led Valpo in scoring in 16 of its 32 games and scored in double figures on 28 occasions, including 11 games with at least 20 points.
