The Horizon League announced its All-League Teams Thursday night at the Awards Banquet in Ann Arbor, Michigan ahead of the Conference Tournament.
Jeffrey Schorsch (Perrysburg, Ohio/Perrysburg) was elected Freshman of the Year in addition to being named a First Team selection. Schorsch set the school record for singles victories in a season with 26, shattering the previous mark of 20.
Freshman Dave Bacalla (Skokie, Ill./Niles North) was announced as a member of the All-League Second Team after going 24-9 in his first season in the Brown and Gold. Bacalla enters the Horizon League Conference Tournament on a three-match winning streak in singles play.
