The Valparaiso men’s basketball team is one of four programs taking part in the inaugural Challenge in Music City next season, to be held Nov. 28-30, 2014 at the Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.  Pairings for the event, which also includes Drake, Murray State and Portland, were announced today, and tickets are available today as well.

The Crusaders will open the event against Drake at 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 28 before taking on Murray State at 7:30 p.m. on the 29^th.  Valpo concludes play on Sunday, Nov. 30 versus Portland at 1 p.m.  Valpo and Murray State have played each of the last two seasons, with the Crusaders winning both matchups, while Valpo has not faced Drake since 1967 or Portland since 1968.
