Valpo Athletics Invests in Facility Upgrades

The Valparaiso University Department of Athletics and Director of Athletics Dr. Charles Small have announced upgrades to the Athletics-Recreation Center arena, which have been completed this summer and will enhance the fan and student-athlete experience alike during the 2023-2024 men’s basketball, women’s basketball and volleyball seasons.

Victory Bell Club Collective Fosters Partnerships Between Valpo Student-Athletes, Local Non-Profits

There was no shortage of wide smiles on the faces of children participating in the First Tee Indiana Youth Golf Clinic on April 29. But perhaps the only smiles that were wider were those on the faces of the members of the Valparaiso University men’s and women’s golf programs, who helped the young people work on their golf game and built relationships along the way as part of the clinic.

Valpo Athletics Hall of Fame Nominations Open Now

Nominations are open now to be included in the pool of candidates for the Valparaiso University Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2023. Former student-athletes whose last season of competition was 2012-13 or earlier are eligible to be nominated.

Valpo Athletics Boasts 93 Percent Graduation Rate

Valparaiso University student-athletes continued to thrive academically as the NCAA released its latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) data this week. Valpo boasted an overall GSR of 93 for the current cohort, a two-percent increase from last year’s rate.
