Katie Sullivan joined the Valpo Athletics staff in January 2022.

Sullivan came to Valpo after a stint as the volleyball athletic trainer at Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. She previously worked as a physical therapy technician at DuPage Medical Group in Wheaton, Ill. from May 2018 to May 2019.

Sullivan gained clinical experience at Northwestern University, Niles North High School and North Park University. A 2018 graduate of Concordia University Chicago with a degree in exercise science and a minor in psychology, Sullivan went on to earn a master’s in athletic training from North Park in May 2021.

Sullivan owns numerous athletic training certifications and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA). She served as a medical volunteer for the Chicago Marathon and Big Ten 10K.
