Tickets Still Available for Monday's Inaugural Crusader Baseball Bash Featuring Tommy Lasorda

            Tickets are still available for the Valparaiso University baseball program’s inaugural Baseball Bash 2008 on Monday, January 28 at the Athletics-Recreation Center.  Baseball Hall of Famer Tommy Lasorda will be the featured speaker.

            This fundraiser for the baseball program will include dinner as well as both a live and silent auction.  The program is slated to begin at 6 p.m.  The doors will open at 5 p.m. with autographs and silent auction activities.  Other invited guests scheduled to be attendance include Ron Kittle, Lloyd McClendon, Mickey Morandini, and Dan Plesac.

            Auction items include a Valpo autograph basketball package, including a signed basketball and jersey, The Shot poster, and two tickets to sit on the bench at an upcoming Crusader game.  In addition, a Cubs-Dodgers weekend package in Los Angeles will be auctioned off along with numerous autographed Major League baseballs and bats.  Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks tickets will also be included in the auction.
