Due to steady rains in the Chicago area, Sunday’s scheduled Horizon League doubleheader at Les Miller Field between Valparaiso and UIC has been canceled.  The games will not be rescheduled.

These are just the third and fourth games this season the Crusaders have lost due to weather.

Valparaiso (21-28, 13-8 Horizon) will wrap up the 2011 regular season on Thursday and Friday with a three-game series against the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee at Henry Aaron Field in Milwaukee, Wis.  Thursday’s single game begins at 3 p.m. with Friday’s twinbill commencing at 1 p.m.
