With steady rain coming down throughout Northwest Indiana
and more on the way, Wednesday afternoon’s schedule baseball game between Valparaiso and Illinois
State at Emory G. Bauer
Field has been cancelled.
With this being the final week of the regular season, the
game will not be made up.
Valparaiso
(27-21, 12-10 Horizon) will wrap up the regular season with a big three-game
weekend series against UIC (25-21, 16-6) at Emory G. Bauer Field beginning
Friday afternoon. The Crusaders and
Flames will play a single game beginning at 3 p.m. on Friday and a doubleheader
on Saturday beginning at noon. Valpo can
finish anywhere from second to fifth in the Horizon League depending on this
weekend.
