Valpo Baseball to Hold Fall Elite Camp

The Valparaiso University baseball program will hold a Fall Elite Camp on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at Emory G. Bauer Field for high school age players.

The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. and each camper will receive instruction from the Valparaiso Crusader coaching staff in the 60 and 40 yard run as well as a critique of home to first speed, arm strength, defense, hitting, and pitching. After the instructional period a full game will be played, and an evaluation of each camper's strengths and weaknesses will be mailed to the campers in the days following the camp.

The cost of the camp is $75 and will be run by head coach Tracy Woodson, as well as the rest of the coaching staff and current Crusader players. For more information or to register, contact Chris Maliszewski at (219) 465-7961 or email Chris.Maliszewski@valpo.edu.
