Field Conditions Prevent Baseball from Playing Twinbill
For the second straight day baseball was postponed in Dayton. (Dave Schofield)

For the second straight day Valparaiso and Wright State were unable to play baseball at Nischwitz Stadium in Dayton, Ohio, as Saturday’s doubleheader was postponed due to wet field conditions from the heavy rain and snow in the area on Thursday and Friday.

The Crusaders and Raiders will try to play two of the three games from the scheduled weekend series on Sunday with a doubleheader beginning at 10 a.m.  Rain is in the forecast for the Dayton region though.  The third game of the series has been cancelled and will not be made up.
