Valpo-Purdue Game to Air Live on Big Ten Network

The NCAA and Big Ten Network have announced that Friday evening’s NCAA Regional game between Valparaiso and Purdue will be carried live on BTN and also available on BTN2Go.  First pitch is slated for 7 p.m. at U.S. Steel Yard in Gary, Ind.

All of Purdue’s regional games will be shown on BTN, thus if the Crusaders play the Boilermakers more than once in the tournament, those games would be shown as well.

BTN2Go is a live 24/7 digital extension of the Big Ten Network that gives fans the ability to watch the network live wherever they are via computer, smartphone or tablet. Full online access to BTN2Go is available to subscribers of participating TV providers at no additional charge. As of May 29, Bright House Networks, Cablevision, Charter, Cox, DIRECTV, Dish Network, Time Warner Cable and Verizon FiOS offer BTN2Go to their subscribers. For more information, go to BTN2go.com.

Valpo’s tournament games against Kentucky and/or Kent State will not be broadcast.

In addition, all of Valpo’s tournament games will be broadcast on the radio on WVUR (95.1-FM, Valparaiso) and online at valpoathletics.com.  Airtime is 15 minutes prior to first pitch of each game.
