Baseball Unveils 2015 Recruiting Class

Valparaiso head baseball coach Brian Schmack announced Thursday the signing of four student-athletes to letters of intent for the class of 2015.  The four signees thus far are Scott Kapers (Schererville, In./Mt. Carmel), Grant Inman (Ft. Wayne, In./Ft. Wayne Carroll), Montana Quigley (Lake Forest, Ca./El Toro), and Sam Shaikin (West Hills, Ca./Chatsworth).

“I cannot say enough about the job (assistant coaches) Ben (Wolgamot), Adam (White) and Nic (Mishler) have done in identifying and helping bring in these individuals to our program. We put forth a vision for our program and they have done a great job finding student-athletes who share that. Our goal is to continually move this program forward and with the help of these four young men, we feel that will happen. Although this is a smaller class, we feel it is one of the best we have brought in,” Schmack said.
