The Valparaiso Baseball Alumni Group has announced that its annual Valpo Baseball Alumni Reunion will occur the weekend of Sept. 22.

Baseball alumni, their families and friends of the program are invited to join in for a series of events throughout the weekend.

The annual golf outing will begin at noon on Sept. 22 at Forest Park Golf Course, located at 1155 Sheffield Drive in Valparaiso. Long range balls, drink tickets and lunch will be provided. At 11:40 a.m., Valpo Director of Athletics Mark LaBarbera will provide a brief presentation on exciting new baseball projects.

Registration is $110 per person, $70 of which is a tax-deductible gift to the baseball program. Early-bird registration is available until Aug. 31 for the discounted price of $90. Attendees will gather for drinks and appetizers on Sept. 22 at a local Valparaiso venue to be named later.

The annual alumni baseball game will begin at 11 a.m. on Sept. 23 at Emory G. Bauer Field. Baseball pants and Valpo jerseys will be provided. Players will need to bring their gloves.

All gifts will go directly to the baseball program fund. There are numerous ways to give including giving online, sponsoring a hole and making a gift on the day of the outing. Online gifts, gifts on the day of the outing and hole sponsorships are solely gifts to the baseball program and do not include any benefit.
