Jeramy St. Clair joined the Valparaiso University baseball program as a volunteer assistant coach in the fall of 2010.

St. Clair assists with many different aspects of the program including serving as the first base coach, assisting staff with pitchers and hitters, and handling technology-based administrative work.

He was instrumental in the Crusaders’ run to the Horizon League regular season and tournament titles in program history and a berth in the NCAA Division I Tournament for the first time since 1968.  Valpo tied the school record with 35 victories in 2012 as well.

The 2011 season saw the Crusaders advance to the Horizon League Tournament championship game as well.

Prior to arriving at Valpo, St. Clair worked for five years at Mishawaka High School teaching mathematics to special needs students, while serving as an assistant varsity baseball coach, and head freshmen coach.

He also has coaching and administrative experience as an assistant coach for the 17U Indiana Chargers as well as a site coordinator for Triple Play Tournaments.  St. Clair also carries with him an extensive professional background in telecommunications design and administration.

As a player, St. Clair was a left-handed pitcher for nationally-ranked Glen Oaks Community College from 1997-1998.  During his time there, he was the recipient of the Viking Award for best exemplifying the role of a student-athlete.

St. Clair is a 2006 graduate of Indiana Tech, where he graduated cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.  St. Clair and his wife, Kasey, have one child, Lilly, who was born in 2007.
