Jon Rupno

POSITION Volunteer Assistant

Jon Rupno moved to the bench prior to the 2007 season as a volunteer assistant after playing four seasons for the Brown and Gold.

A second baseman for Valpo from 2003-2006, Rupno was a career .267 hitter for the Crusaders with 51 runs batted in.  He started 94 games over his final two seasons at Valpo.

As a junior, Rupno hit .314 while finishing third on the team with 33 RBIs, a career-high.

Rupno graduated from Valparaiso in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in sports management, and is currently pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration from the university.
