2009: Started 14 games for Valpo in sophomore campaign ... named Horizon League Pitcher of the Week on April 27 after earning the win against Wright State, pitching eight innings without giving up an earned run and striking out seven on April 26 ... fourth in the Horizon League with a 3.59 ERA ... struck out 79 hitters, third in the league ... tied for the league lead with seven victories ... opponents hit .251, fourth lowest in the conference ... threw a team-high 85.1 innings ... struck out nine at Arkansas-Little Rock (Mar. 1) and eight against Wright State (Apr. 18) ... did not allow a homerun after the season opener (80 innings) ... tossed seven shutout innings against North Dakota (Apr. 11).
