2013: Filled in admirably at third base when Elliott Martin went down with an injury...appeared in 38 games overall...scored a run on top of having a 1-for-3 night at the dish versus South Florida (Mar. 10)...registered three hits in a doubleheader versus Wright State on Mar. 23rd including a run scored, a run batted in, and a stolen base...plated a run with an RBI single at Notre Dame (Apr. 3)...ripped two triples, drove in two and scored a run of his own in a 3-for-4 afternoon versus UIC (Apr. 6)...helped power Valpo to a win over #9 Arizona State on Apr. 21st with a 2-for-3 game with two RBIs and a triple...scored three runs and recorded his fourth triple of the season versus Wright State (Apr. 27)...tallied two hits, a run, and a ribby against Milwaukee (May 3)...went 3-for-8 in Valpo's home series versus Youngstown State (May 16-18) including three hits, two runs, an RBI and a double.
2012: Sat out season per NCAA eligibility rules.
2011 (HCC): Hit .375 as a sophomore while starting all 60 games he appeared in ... went 30-for-33 on the base paths ... hit four home runs and drove in 42 runs as he posted a .522 slugging percentage ... led team to a 54-11 record ... team appeared in the NJCAA Division II World Series ... Second-Team All Mid-West Athletic Conference honors.
2010 (HCC): Appeared in 42 games while starting 36 ... had a .336 batting average ... was 16-for-17 in stolen base attempts.
Prep: A three-year letterwinner for the Tigers.
Personal: Andy is the son of Richard and Mary Burns ... major is criminology ... born Sept. 14, 1990.
