Bauer Field on April 2nd where he limited Northern Illinois to four runs in five innings on the hill...shutout Kalamazoo College (Apr. 21) for five innings, yielding just three hits before getting the win...finished the season with a 2-1 record.

2013: Appeared in nine games for the Crusaders as a freshman including two starts...made his first collegiate appearance on March 6th versus Toledo where he allowed just one run in two innings of work...blanked Wright State (Mar. 22) for an inning...shutout Milwaukee (Mar. 30) for a 1 2/3 innings in Chicago...didn't allow a run or hit versus UIC (Apr. 7) in two innings out of the pen...earned his first collegiate win with five innings of one-run ball versus Roosevelt (Apr. 17)...didn't factor into the decision in his start versus Western Michigan (Apr. 30) after throwing five innings and surrendering just two earned runs...struck out one Chicago State Cougar in a perfect inning of relief (May 7)...yielded one run on two hits in three innings of work out of the pen at UIC (May 11)...finished the season with a 2.14 ERA and walked only one batter in 21 innings pitched.
