2012: Started 59 games for the Crusaders...sported a .332 batting average...made 31 starts at second base and slid over to shortstop for another 28 when Spencer Mahoney went down with a knee injury...recorded three three-hit games in first six tilts with Crusaders including the Feb. 26th win over #4 Arkansas, a game in which he scored three runs - one of which was the game-winning run in the 10th inning - and added a double and an RBI...went 4-for-7 with a triple and run scored in a two-game series at Wake Forest Mar. 6th and 7th...hit his only home run against Winthrop on Mar. 12th as part of a 2-for-5 game with a double and two runs scored...had a 5-for-14 weekend with two triples and four runs scored at Butler Mar. 16th-18th...collected six hits in a weekend sweep of Milwaukee Mar. 24th-25th... batting average never fell below .312 once team returned from spring trip...went 3-for-4 with a stolen base against Grace on Apr. 9th...recorded back-to-back two-hit two-RBI games at Youngstown State on Apr. 14th and 15th...swiped two bags, was hit twice, had two hits, scored a run, and knocked in one against the Fighting Irish in a 7-4 win in Notre Dame on May 2nd...enjoyed an 8-for-17 series including six runs scored against Youngstown State on the weekend the Crusaders clinched the regular season Horizon League crown...opened the Horizon League tournament with a 2-for-3 game, scoring two runs, notching two RBI, stroking a double, drawing a walk, taking a hit-by-pitch, and adding a sac fly in the team's 16-3 opening game rout over Youngstown State...scored three runs in the Horizon League Championship game over UIC...hit safely in both games of the NCAA Regionals...led team in runs scored, triples, total bases, hit-by-pitches, sacrifices, and stolen bases...never went more than two games without a hit...voted Horizon League First Team All-League...named to Horizon League All-Newcomer Team...was a finalist for the Tom Walter College Baseball Inspirational Award.
