Valparaiso University's Joe Blahowicz (Buffalo, N.Y./Alden H.S.) has been named the Pioneer Football League co-Player of the Week for his efforts in Saturday's victory at Aurora.

The senior punter averaged 45.8 yards per punt for five kicks on the afternoon, including a career-long 68 yarder. Blahowicz also dropped two kicks inside the 20-yard line.

For the season, he finished with a 39.6 yard per kick average, ranking fifth in the league.
