Valparaiso University head coach Stacy Adams has announced that 45 players have committed to play football for the Crusaders beginning this fall.

Among the 45 players are 43 that will be incoming freshmen and two that are transferring to Valpo.  Adams is bringing in 21 offensive players, 22 defenders, and two kickers in addition to the 74 returnees to complete this year’s roster.

“I believe we have a strong recruiting class that will hopefully help us fill some of the vacancies that we currently have,” Adams said.  “We have recruited a wide range of kids to our university from all over the country.”

Nine different states are represented among this year’s incoming class.
