Mike Jones joins the Valparaiso staff for the 2006 season as a student assistant helping to coach the secondary.

A four-year standout for the Brown and Gold in the secondary, he finished his career with 133 total tackles, including 61 as a senior, second most on the team.  He registered 5.5 sacks in four years and recovered a team-leading four fumbles in 2005.  Jones was a First Team All-Pioneer Football League selection his senior season.

Jones is completing his bachelor’s degree in sports management with an anticipated graduation date of December, 2006.  Mike is single and resides in Valparaiso.
