Matt Ache
2007-08 Football

Matt Ache joins the Valparaiso coaching staff prior to the 2007 season and will serve as the Crusaders’ tight ends coach.

Ache played defensive tackle at Texas Lutheran University during the 2001 season, and also has experience as a strength and conditioning coach.  He worked for three years at Memorial High School in Houston, Texas where he assisted with workout plans and oversaw both cardio and weight workouts.  He also was a strength and conditioning coach at the Sports Performance Institute in Valparaiso.

A 2006 graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Ache earned his bachelor’s degree in geography.  He is now pursuing his master’s degree in sports administration at Valparaiso and is slated to complete his degree in May, 2008.
