Fall 2021: Named the team’s Most Inspirational Player for a second consecutive season... Named to the Academic All-PFL Second Team... Played in nine games.

Spring 2021: Saw action in all six games… Named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team and the Academic All-PFL First Team while also garnering the team’s Most Inspirational Player Award… Had his lone tackle of the season on March 27 vs. Butler… Earned National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society membership… Served as one of the team’s community service liaisons… Named the squad’s Scout Defensive Player of the Week for Week 4… Member of PFL Academic Honor Roll… Received Valparaiso University Presidential Academic Honors.

2019: Appeared in two games, making one tackle apiece in contests at Truman State (Sept. 21) and vs. Charleston (Sept. 28)… Member of PFL Honor Roll.

2018: Played in all 11 games and totaled 20 tackles while forcing a fumble and registering 1.5 tackles for loss… After making his debut on Sept. 8 at Duquesne, made the first three tackles of his career on Sept. 15 at Youngstown State, the first of four straight games where he finished with three tackles…. Had his first career TFL on Sept. 22 vs. Truman State while also notching his first career pass breakup… Made a fumble recovery on Oct. 6 at Dayton… Member of the PFL Academic Honor Roll.

2017: Did not see game action in his first year on campus. 

Prep: Three-year varsity letter winner at William Henry Harrison High School in West Lafayette, Ind... Earned all-North Central Conference and academic all-conference in addition to being named Team Defensive MVP, All-State Honorable Mention, First Team All-Area, Academic All-State, a Region IV All-Star and an Indiana Football Coach's Association (IFCA) North All Star (North - South All Star Game)... Led all of Class 5A in the state of Indiana in sacks in 2016. 

Personal: Son of Brad and Sara Bishop... Has eight siblings (five of whom are adopted) - Jocelyn, Mason, Marleigh, Patrick, Jake, Lucy, Maggie and Charley... Studying actuarial science... Born on Oct. 6, 1998... Mother Sara is a Valpo alum. She received her master's in psychology from Valpo in 2000... Career goal is to use his actuarial science degree to work in the NFL... Favorite pre-Valpo football memory was being named to the  Indiana North All-Star team after his senior year of high school.
