For the second straight year, Valparaiso seniors Ryan Broekhoff (Frankston, Victoria, Australia/Australian Institute of Sport) and Kevin Van Wijk (Hoofddorp, Netherlands/Katholieke Scholengemeenschap Hoofddorp) have earned All-District 12 honors from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC). Broekhoff was a First Team selection this season after earning Second Team accolades last year, while Van Wijk repeated as a Second Team honoree.

Broekhoff added to his collection of honors following a senior season in which he averaged 15.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. The First Team All-Horizon League honoree and Lou Henson All-American finished among the league's top-five in five different statistical categories while helping the Crusaders to the regular season and tournament titles, including pacing the circuit in free throw percentage. The senior also ranked among the top-30 nationally in both free throw and 3-point percentage.

Van Wijk earned the Second Team All-District accolade after being named a Second Team All-Horizon League performer in his final season as a Crusader. The native of the Netherlands led the Horizon League and ranks eighth nationally, shooting 63.3% from the floor while averaging 12.4 points per game. Van Wijk set a new league record this year by connecting at a 69.5% clip from the field within league-only games as well. The senior concluded his Valpo career by becoming just the 32nd player in program history to reach 1,000 career points.
