Valpo Sports Radio Network Announces Coverage Schedule

The Valpo Sports Radio Network will cover all of Northwest Indiana for Valparaiso University men's basketball this season, beginning with the regular season opener November 23 at IPFW.

Four Northwest Indiana stations, WAKE (1500-AM, Valparaiso), WVUR (95.1-FM, Valparaiso), WE-FM (95.9-FM, Michigan City), and Relevant Radio (WWCA, 1270-AM, Gary) will carry live coverage of every home and road game during the 2005-06 season. The Valpo Sports Radio Network also broadcasts all Crusader football games.

The games will once again be carried live through the internet at www.valpo.edu/athletics.

Todd Ickow will handle the play-by-play for the 15th straight season, with Brent Whitlock providing the color commentary.

The 2005-06 men's basketball season officially begins Saturday night at 7:05 p.m. with an exhibition contest at the Athletics-Recreation Center against Capital (Ohio) University. That game will be carried live on 95.1 FM, WVUR, and online at www.valpo.edu/athletics.
