Crusaders to Face Off With Western Michigan

Valparaiso will travel to Kalamazoo, Mich. to take on Western Michigan on Saturday, February 17 at 3 p.m. Central time in a matchup derived from the O'Reilly ESPNU BracketBusters pool.

The matchup renews one of Valpo's oldest rivalries, as the Crusaders and Broncos first met in the 1920-21 season. The two squads last faced off on Dec. 5, 1989, and have met 62 times on the hardwood, with Western Michigan holding a 36-26 edge in the all-time series.

The Crusaders are currently 10-11 overall, including a 4-3 mark in Mid-Continent Conference action. Western Michigan, a member of the Mid-American Conference, is 9-11 overall and 4-3 in MAC play.
