Game Day Parking: 2014-15 Men's Basketball

The installation of the Warren Hoger Track around Brown Field and the University’s purchase of the former Porter Hospital property have resulted in some changes and additions to the parking options for men’s basketball fans this season. Complete information, including a parking map is found below.

FREE PUBLIC PARKING - Now available in the former Porter Hospital Parking Garage located between Lincolnway and LaPorte Ave. The garage entrance is located on the south side of the structure, off of LaPorte Ave. All parking is located on the first level, which provides covered spaces and protection from rain and snow. The garage is now directly accessible to the Athletics-Recreation Center (ARC) via a paved pathway, which will be cleared of snow through the winter. The path will be lighted by the lights from Brown Field until installation of direct lighting is completed.

The former Porter Hospital surface lot located directly east of the parking garage is also available for free public parking during games. The lot should be accessed through the ground level of the parking garage.

Lots 14 and 15, located in the center of campus between the softball field and the Harre Union, are also available for free public parking during games. These lots are just east of the ARC and are a quick walk down Union Street from the ticket office and ARC main entrance.

HANDICAP PARKING - Increased from 13 to 20 spaces and now available in two locations.  Five handicap spaces are available in the northwest corner of Lot 43, just south of Union St., directly across from the ARC main entrance. An additional 15 handicap spaces are available in the Fitness Center parking lot, located on the north side of Union St., just east of the ARC. A government issued handicap placard is required to park in handicap spaces, which are available for free on a first come, first served basis.

Lot 43 (GOLD LOT) - The west aisle of this lot will be accessible to Gold Lot pass holders on game day.  The remainder of the lot is reserved for vehicles with University-issued parking permits (Student, Faculty/Staff and Commuter). During break periods, the areas used by University faculty/staff/students will be accessible to the general public at no cost.

Lot 45 (ARC LOT) - Parking in this lot is available only for those patrons who have an ARC Lot or ARC Lot Reserved parking pass.

Parking lots will open two hours prior to game time.  Vehicles who do not abide by these restrictions, along with standard university parking policies, will be subject to a ticket and/or tow.
