The Missouri Valley Conference schedule for the 2018-2019 Valparaiso University men’s basketball season was unveiled on Tuesday, highlighted by a visit from 2018 Final Four participant Loyola to the ARC on Sunday, Feb. 10.

The conference slate opens at home on Wednesday, Jan. 2 as Valpo welcomes Illinois State to the ARC. The 18-game double round-robin schedule features two games a week – one on either Tuesday or Wednesday, and one on either Saturday or Sunday – through Saturday, March 2, when the regular season concludes with Valpo hosting Evansville.

The Feb. 10 game against the Ramblers will mark the sixth time in program history that Valpo has hosted a team which made the Final Four the previous season. Valpo split games in Hilltop Gym against DePaul in 1944 and 1980 following runs to the Final Four by the Blue Demons, while more recently, Valpo swept three games at home against Butler in 2011 and 2012.

Game times will be set for conference games as television selections are confirmed over the coming weeks.
