Five members of the Valparaiso University men’s basketball program were recognized for their academic success on Tuesday as the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced its annual honors court.

Ben Krikke (Edmonton, Alberta, Canada / Jasper Place), Brock Pappas (Valparaiso, Ind. / Washington Township), Eron Gordon (Indianapolis, Ind. (Cathedral [Seton Hall]), Joe Hedstrom (Hopkins, Minn. / Hopkins [Wisconsin]) and Thomas Kithier (Macomb, Mich. / Clarkston [Michigan State]) were all named to the NABC honors court.

In order to earn this recognition, student-athletes must be listed on the 2021-22 roster, be a junior, senior or graduate student academically and own a cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher.
