2009 (Track and Field): Competed in the distance events for the Crusaders as a freshman ... was second-fastest Valpo runner outdoors in both the 5,000m run (15:57.96), as well as the 3,000m steeplechase (10:06.82) ... posted top time indoors of 16:19.88 in the 5,000m run, third-fastest among Crusader athletes ... also posted personal bests indoors of 4:41.57 in the 1,500m run and 9:21.37 in the 3,000m run.
2008 (Cross Country): Took to the course five times for Valpo as a freshman ... was the sixth Crusader runner across the line at the season-opening Crusader Open, finishing 23rd overall with a time of 20:46 over the 6K course ... ran season-best 8K time of 27:28.11 at Evansville Invitational ... also ran for Valpo at the Horizon League Championships.
Prep: A four-year letterwinner for the Vikings ... helped team to four conference championships ... Vikings also captured three regional titles and one sectional championship ... an All-State honoree as a senior ... also earned All-Sectional, All-Regional and All-Conference nods throughout career ... also received four letters in track and field ... named track team's Most Valuable Athlete ... holds school pole vault records for freshmen, sophomores and juniors ... named school's Scholar-Athlete of the Year ... a member of National Honor Society.
